“ This place is a solid 4 star spot. I love their steak quesadillas and their green salsa is the best I've ever had. My partner usually gets the breakfast burrito and it is HUGE. It comes with eggs, potatoes, chorizo, and cheese. Very yummy but a bit greasy for my taste. Chips are not included but they give you all you really need for a snack since the portion of quesadilla is great too. Try the horchata! It is very good. The service is very nice and we just call in after our ski day in Heavenly and when we get there, it's usually ready to eat. Ambiance is simple, can dine in but take out is easy from there and it's worth taking for a picnic by the lake! ”
“ Chatted with the owner a bit, it's a tiny place and it's clear he serves everything with pride and his own high standards. No sloppy or badly proportioned burritos. Fresh ingredients. First: The thing I cannot forget is the green tomatillo salsa. It's mild, and so good I could drink it. The owner makes the salsa from his own recipe, and I bought a pint of both of the red and the green to take home. Not joking, it is so freakin good, more complex and less acidic than most tomatillo... something smoky, just so flavorful -- all the green salsas from the past are a haze of blandness. Second: we went in for breakfast burritos -- it was weirdly delicious; I got bacon (not chorizo) eggs, beans, and asked the owner to put the salsa inside the burrito, hold the potatoes. Pounded it and decided to go back for lunchtime burritos to eat on the road. ”
“ Needed an early lunch on Thanksgiving and found this spot. Asada burrito was great. Service was fast and would highly reccomend Taco's for quality Mexican food in SLT. ”
“ I've tried ever mexican food restaurant in Tahoe and this is by far my favorite. The chicken burrito is so good. Highly recommend. My go to. ”
“ I would highly recommend this spot if you're looking for some authentic Mexican food. The menudo is the best in town, and the customer service is great. The atmosphere is nice and feels like home. The menudo is also great if you have a hangover and is easy on the stomach. ”
